How to spot
Look for the candy-cane red-and-white bands, a very spiny body, three long pairs of claws, and two extra-long white feelers waving in the water.
True colors
Bright red and white stripes cover its body and its long, thin claws. The edges of the bands are sometimes tinted purple or blue. Its feelers are white.
