How to spot
A tiny, oval, flat-sided angelfish. Look for the purple-and-orange striped body with blue-edged fins. Like all dwarf angelfish, it has a small spine on each cheek (the "two spines" in its name bispinosa).
True colors
Deep purple-blue body crossed by many bright orange stripes on its sides. The edges of its top, tail, and bottom fins glow electric blue. Colors vary from fish to fish depending on where it lives.
